Alicia and I wanted to wish Arlene and Stephen of Sound Fusion Entertainment and Semper Fi Events two of of the best people we can call friends a very, very happy one year anniversary! We met Arlene and Stephen when we had a booth next to them at a bridal show and I immediately knew they would be the DJs for our wedding which we hadn’t even started planning. Their “happily ever laughter” story is truly one of love and triumph and no two people were more meant for each other than Stephen and Arlene. We feel blessed to call them more than just colleagues and friends. We’ve worked together, done photo sessions with them, laughed and cried together. To us they’re family. We were privileged enough to photograph their wedding and it seems like it was only a month ago. Time flies when you have great people in your life.

Happy first anniversary! Just a very few of our favorites from their wedding.

Chandra and Gavin came from Florida to Las Vegas for some photos in the old part of town. Chandra is one tall smokin’ hottie and Gavin is the quintessential Apple user who loves his iPad and iPhone. They are the epitome of an analog vs. digital couple and they do it very well, having been married over 10 years. Chandra hails from Texas and Gavin is from Dublin, Ireland where he and his brother used to watch U2 play on the street corner when they were a start-up band.

We had such a great time with these two that we were truly sorry to part ways. We hope to make it to Orlando so we can go diving with them someday. Thanks for being so fun!

Chandra just being the bomb.

Analog vs. Digital = love unequaled.

While Chandra did a quick change, Gavin just chilled out and took in street life in Fremont. Not a moment later a stranger handed him a dollar. Not something you see very often.

The shoe shot, this just explains them to perfection. How can you not love people who wear chucks?

With a hip gathering at The Bar @ St. Rose and Bermuda, Marty got his party on like a rockstar. With a Seahawks, Fly Fishing and Batman theme people had a great time all night while fighting for their right to Maaaarrrty!

Most people know Haley as the cute counter girl at Retro Bakery. Haley is far more than that. She’s razor sharp, and moving up fast. Haley go out and doesn’t poke at things with a stick, she hits them with purpose and effect and you will know when she hits them. She’s a dancer, choreographer, hair stylist and all of this at 17. Her next stop is the Paul Mitchell School and her future is so bright that polarized glacier glasses won’t help you from being blinded.

We were lucky enough to have Haley rock the cupcake counter at our wedding, and feel very privileged to count her as a friend – thanks for being the bomb!

We headed out to the Las Vegas arts district for some fun with graffiti and amazing art by local artists.

Then off to the corner of No and Where to use the foundations of some old buildings. The checkered floor looks like a dance floor to me, even though it was an old tire shop back in the day.
