First we flew across the United States to Baltimore and then drove to the other coast. Driving on US Hwy 1 was a cool experience as was crossing the famous Chesapeake Bay, driving through what seemed like endless small towns to finally land first in Lewes then Dewey Beach, Delaware where we found one of the coolest couples we’ll ever meet. Some people you like and some you really like right away and Stephanie and Lee fall into the latter category. Lewes could have been a mirror to the town I grew up in up in Washington State which proves that people aren’t as different as we sometimes make them out to be, regardless of what coast we’re on.

Some of us come into the world sleepy eyed and some crying but baby boy Cullen came with a Les Paul and looking for a Marshall amp. Everyone has plans for their friend’s children. Me? I’m already dusting off a copy of TAD’s 8 Way Santa for him. We’re proud to call his parents friends and couldn’t be happier for them and we wish Baby Cullen a long and fruitful journey with a killer soundtrack. If you missed the first photos we posted, make sure to check out The Baby and The Bomb.

With Stanley Kubrick’s Dr. Strangelove (or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb) as inspiration, we headed out to the Jean dry lake bed for a very unique newborn photo. Slim Pickens would no doubt approve.

Sara hadn’t decided where Warner was getting ready and I suggested the roof of the parking garage and that’s exactly where we ended up on a perfect day. With a few odd looks from security and some people looking out their windows the guys transformed into gentlemen in the least likely place you’d look for them. And that was just the very beginning of the day. We had vintage cars, Elvis, pinball machines from the real heyday of the Bally Table Kings, a trip to the famous (in)famous Hogs and Heifers and more on a day none of us will ever forget. Memory Lane Video was on hand for some killer aerial footage.

We love travel, and where better to travel to than Washington State? Land of a vast array of micro brews, hand roasted coffee from all over the world and indie bands that include everything from Nirvana and Soundgarden to The Fleet Foxes and Kinski. This time we found ourselves going to the summit of Crystal Mountain for Ryan and Rachelle’s wedding. Not your average affair to be wed with Mt. Rainier and the Cascade range watching you from the background and the entire valley below, the view was breathtaking in more ways than one.
